³¹ So Pilate said to them, “You take Him and judge Him according to your Law”. The Jews said to him, “It is not lawful^[a] for us to execute anyone”— ³² in order that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled which He spoke signifying^[b] by what kind of death He was going to die.

³³ So Pilate entered again into the Praetorium, and called Jesus. And he said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?”
